Description

This peptide is a 20 to 39 amino acid residues fragment of human IkBa,. Following cellular stimulation, specific IkB kinases (IKKs) are activated resulting in phosphorylation of serines 32 and 36 on human IkBa. The subsequent cascade of cellular events leads to the translocation of transcription factor to the nucleous where it initiates specific transcription.
