Description
CKS-17 is a heptadecapeptide isolated from a highly conserved region of the immunosuppressive retroviral envelope protein p15E that is also capable of inhibiting lymphocyte proliferation, B cell activation, natural killer cell cytotoxicity, and monocyte-mediated tumor cytotoxicity. It has been found that CKs-17 leads to the rise of intracellular cAMP levels that may affect several physiological cellular functions.
