Description
Transdermal Peptide TD-1 is novel peptide designed to enhance transdermal drug delivery. Mechanistic studies suggest that the peptide creates transient opening in the skin barrier, which enables protein-sized molecules to pass through the skin and reach systemic circulation. When TD-1 is co-administrated with insulin on rat skin, systemic levels of insulin and human growth hormone are increased significantly.
