Description

This peptide is the fragment of histone H3 (73-83) with acetylation at Lys79. Histone acetylation generally is associated with transcriptional activation. Sirt2, a NAD+ dependent lysine deacetylase, preferentially deacetylates Histone H3 at Lysine 79.
