Description
Fibrinogen is a cofactor in platelet activation. This peptide binds to fibrinogen and inhibits the adhesion of platelets to fibrinogen, platelet aggregation and the adhesion of platelets to vitronectin. The peptide has the characteristics expected of a mimic of a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa ligand binding site.
